I am hoping that I will be able to turn a R. ciliatus (Crested Gecko) into a blueish morph...

As far as I know, it has never been done before.  Or at least, I've never seen it.  Crested Gecko. com has one ecko in their collection that they would consider "Blue":
However, as you can see, it is not very blue...  In the annual (2003) issue of Reptiles magazine, it showed a picture of a truly blue crested, (oviously a trick of the light).  And they made no comment on this.  I have searched, and I have wuestioned, and it jsut isn;t so.  However... I have  noticed a dramitic change in color, when cresteds (especially juvenilles) have different colors as their surrondings.  For example:  My first crested gecko was just the regular tanish color, however the leg sides were orangey, so I but orange material (cloth) and hechanged color.  I noticed a dramatic amount of orange color increase in him.  When I redid his cage however, I left out this... orange cloth.  And he lost the color.  So what I plan to do is get a white to cream coores crested and totally do its whole cage in BLUE.  From the stubstrate to the plants, and to the wood and rocks....blue
